Avian flu is caused due to the H5N1 virus which is transmitted from the saliva, fecal matter of the birds. The disease is highly contagious and causes death of birds and poultry population. The virus is lethal and assumes the proportion of pandemic, which can wipe out the entire population of birds and poultry. The virus also spreads to the human beings if they are in contact with the sick bird or poultry. Human beings are also afflicted by the virus which can even be life threatening. Influenza, commonly called “The Flu,” is an illness caused by viruses that infect the respiratory tract. Compared with most other viral respiratory infections, such as the common cold, influenza (flu) infection often causes a more severe illness with a mortality rate (death rate) of about 0.1% of people who are infected with the virus. Unusually severe worldwide outbreaks (pandemics) have occurred several times in the last 100 years since influenza virus was identified in 1933. Bird flu is an infection caused by avian (bird) influenza (flu) viruses. These flu viruses occur naturally among birds. Wild birds worldwide carry the viruses in their intestines, but usually do not get sick from them. However, bird flu is very contagious among birds and can make some domesticated birds, including chickens, ducks, and turkeys, very sick and kill them. The Facts on Avian Influenza Avian influenza is a type of influenza or “flu” that occurs in all species of birds. The virus that causes avian influenza – more commonly called “bird flu” – exists naturally in many wild birds, including wild waterfowl, without causing the condition in them; these birds are called carriers. Normally, the virus is associated with birds raised on poultry farms and less often, with pigs. Cause and Risk Factors Bird flu is caused by infection with one of the avian influenza viruses. People who handle or have other contact with infected birds (e.g., farm workers) are at increased risk for developing the disease. People who live in or travel to affected areas of the world (e.g., Asia, and parts of Africa and Europe), health care providers in these areas, and household members of infected patients are also at increased risk. When a bird is infected with bird flu, it sheds the Flu Virus in its faeces. Other birds then become infected by inhaling or eating the virus. The virus can also infect you if you inhale dried faeces that has become trampled into the dust or stuck to the feathers or other parts of the body of the infected bird. You are usually infected with bird flu when preparing poultry for cooking rather than by eating it. Symptoms Flu symptoms and treatment vary depending on what kind of flu you may have. Fever is a common symptom when you have the flu and so are headaches, muscular aches and lethargy or being extremely tired. Other types of flu may cause runny noses and other cold like symptoms. Avian Flu (1): The H5N1 virus

Is it normal for a Tuberculosis vaccination scar to become red & swollen after a flu/H1N1 vaccination?

My daughter was given the TB vaccination as an infant & it left a circular scar. She’s now 8 years old & we went yesterday for our seasonal flu shot & H1N1 pandemic shot. (I don’t know which one was given in which arm) The scar from her TB shot is now red & swollen. Is this normal?

They probably gave her the vaccination near the TB scar. Swelling is a common side effect of vaccinations given with hypodermic needles. It wouldn’t hurt to call the place that administered the vaccination and inquire with them though. It’s always better to be safe than sorry.

Flu Vaccine Exposed: Think Twice!

So I heard on BBC news about H1N1 virus today?

People who caught it and recovered, are now immune to all kind of flu. According to Journal of Experimental Medicine, the study showed, 9 out of 10 people who had H1N1 aka swine flu, developed very wild spectra of antiviral antibodies. that could never happen with seasonal flu. 5 types of antibodies were able to destroy all types of H1N1 virus, occurred in the last 10 years, virus of 1918 flu and potentially deadly virus of “bird flu” HSN1.
If it is true, how long to you think a unversal vaccine development is going to find its way to everybody?

And this is news? This is how civilizations have survived thousands of years. Our bodies are designed to fight disease, create resistance, and strive to be healthy. The Flu of 1918 was so bad because of bad hygiene, bad water sanitation, and no quarantines. It certainly was not because no flu vaccine was available, that is for sure.

Vaccines do NOT create antibodies from the normal cloning process the body goes through with getting germs in a normal way. Injecting antibodies into the bloodstream only contaminates the blood and at best immunity to a specific virus; and it is only temporary.

Most likely the BBC news did not mention how many people got the flu that were vaccinated or how many died as a result of getting vaccinated. I’m sure they did not tell you that if you got the flu vaccine last year, you now stand between 104% and 274% greater chance of catching the flu this year! ! ! That was according to a now famous Canadian study.

Somewhere between 11,600 and 18,300 people (depending upon who you listen too) actually died of the swine flu last year. That means that the so called PANDEMIC was such a big bust only foolish people are listening to the indoctrination being promoted by government & drug companies. You stood a 700% greater chance of being struck by lightning during your lifetime than dying of the swine flu.

People living at or near the equator rarely get the flu or cancer. They have lots of vitamin D3 in their blood streams. The farther north you go, the curve is almost straight line for the number of flu cases increasing.

Bird Flu – Swine Flu Hoax Pt 2 “H1N1″

“Influenza” A (H1N1) is a subtype of influenza A virus, and the most common cause of human influenza (flu) in 2009. Some strains of H1N1 are endemic in humans, a small fraction of all influenza-like illness and a small fraction of all seasonal influenza. H1N1 strains caused by a few percent of all infections of human influenza, 2004-2005. [1] Another H1N1 strain is endemic in pigs (swine flu) and birds (avian influenza).

Could government compensation help prevent an avian influenza pandemic?

I know it’s an odd phrase, but let’s observe. A large majority of people are afraid that avian influenza (Bird Flu) will develop the gene that enables it to spread from human to human and become the next pandemic. A lot of diseases begin in animals, I know that HIV and SARS started in animals, plus there’s Monkey Pox, West Nile, Mad Cow, etc. Here’s how I picture it, say in this third world country, the government sends someone to a farm to inspect the chickens. They then say, “Hey, we have to kill this many of your chickens to prevent an outbreak.” So they slaughter the chickens and move on to the next poor farm. Offering no compensation for their killings. Third world farmers probably care most about having enough money for food, to support their families, etc. So the best thing they can do in this situation is tell other farmers they know “Hey hide your sick chickens!” So, could government compensation possibly help? Please tell me what you’d do if you had governmental power.

I see where you are going with this… by offering compensation more farmers would allow true regulation of their animals to be sure anything with the bird flu would be slaughtered before it can pass it along. The problem is ONE case would require a total quarentine of that farm… nothing comes or goes including wild birds to the fecal matter for over 2 weeks … So adequate compensation would need to be provided for cooperation

Here in the US it might work but there needs to be a larger scale campaign for it to work with many /all countries participating and only in that kind of scenario could I/would I think about it if I was in power…. I would definitely seek the advise of many acedemics on this issue… Something I dont think politicians do often enough.
