Causes Of Bird Flu
Is the world in a panic because of the swine flu outbreak?
Is this the pandemic that many thought the bird flu, or the west nile virus, would cause thousands to die? Do you feel sickly? Do you feel paranoid, like if you go out of the house, like to the store, or to the mall, or catch a movie, that you will get it from someone? Are you cooped up in your house, crying, scared, nervous, anxious, and apprehensive about getting it?
I went to the Australian Answers and they are freaked out about it, which I don’t get, since Mexico and America are the countries with it!

According to the CDC (CDC.gov), on June 11, 2009, the World Health Organization (WHO) raised the worldwide pandemic alert level to Phase 6 in response to the ongoing global spread of the novel Influenza A (H1N1) virus. A Phase 6 designation indicates that a global pandemic is underway. As of Friday, June 19, 2009 at 4:00pm ET, the state of New York has 1300 confirmed cases of Swine Flu and 24 deaths.
What is Swine Flu (H1N1)?
Swine flu has nothing to do with pigs. It’s a new influenza virus that was first detected in the United States in April 2009.
What can I do to protect myself from getting sick?
There is no vaccine available right now to protect against novel H1N1 virus. There are everyday actions that can help prevent the spread of germs that cause respiratory illnesses like influenza.
Take these everyday steps to protect your health:
• Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
• Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hand cleaners are also effective.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread this way.
• Try to avoid close contact with sick people.
• Stay home if you are sick for 7 days after your symptoms begin or until you have been symptom-free for 24 hours, whichever is longer. This is to keep from infecting others and spreading the virus further.
Other important actions that you can take are:
• Follow public health advice regarding school closures, avoiding crowds and other social distancing measures.
• Be prepared in case you get sick and need to stay home for a week or so; a supply of over-the-counter medicines, alcohol-based hand rubs, tissues and other related items might could be useful and help avoid the need to make trips out in public while you are sick and contagious.

Preparation For Bird Flu
Are you making preparations for the upcoming Bird Flu (H5N1) ??
Latest reports from Indonesia are saying that there is now evidence of human to human, And again to another human, transmission of H5N1. While this is not the mutation that will cause the pandemic, this clearly shows that the virus is trying to mutate into a form for efficient (highly contagious) human to human transmission. Have you looked at the Govt’s reccommendation for stockpiling food? water? first aid kits, anti diareaha medicines?? Have you started?
No. It’s total fearmongering, just like the governments all over the world did with 9/11, and Anthrax in the mail etc…
A virus cannot try to mutate. It just does it. Flu season for this year is almost over, and who knows what will happen in time for next flu season?
